1. Acceptance

By using Proovn you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the platform.

2. What Proovn Is

Proovn is a marketplace platform that connects verified developers with employers. We are an intermediary — we do not employ developers or guarantee outcomes. Skill verification is conducted through our proctored AI test system.

3. Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be based in India (currently India-only)
  • Must provide accurate information during registration

4. Developer Terms

  • Skills are verified through proctored tests only — no manual badge claims
  • Test results are permanent and visible to employers
  • Developers are independent contractors, not Proovn employees
  • Developers must complete agreed work before escrow release

5. Employer Terms

  • Employers must fund escrow before work begins
  • Job postings must be for legitimate software development work
  • Employers may not use contact details obtained via chat for off-platform hiring within 6 months
  • Employers are responsible for clearly defining project scope

6. Payments and Escrow

  • All payments go through Razorpay escrow
  • Funds are held until employer confirms delivery
  • Proovn charges ₹299 per job post or ₹2,999/month for unlimited posts
  • Developer subscription: ₹199/month
  • Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Providing false information or cheating on tests
  • Harassing or abusing other users via chat
  • Attempting to take transactions off-platform
  • Using the platform for any illegal purpose

8. Intellectual Property

  • Proovn owns all platform code, design, and branding
  • Users retain ownership of their uploaded content (resumes, project descriptions)

9. Limitation of Liability

Proovn is not liable for disputes between employers and developers beyond the escrow mediation service. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid to Proovn for the relevant transaction.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between employers and developers: contact proovn.help@gmail.com — we will mediate within 24 hours.
Legal disputes: governed by courts in Faridabad, Haryana, India.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
